Gianni Bardazzi

Born in 1965, Gianni Bardazzi graduated in Architecture in 1990 at the University of Florence and got a PhD in 1998 for a joint program between the University of Florence and the University of Chalmers, Sweden.

He was consultant in numerous site management projects for ICIET-SIME and ITT Sheraton.
In 1997 he joined the Maire Group where he has been holding important positions and sitting in the Board of Directors of the Group companies. From October 2005 to September 2011 he was Member of the Board of Directors of Maire Tecnimont and held the position of Strategic Marketing and Special Initiatives Senior Vice President, supervising the Group’s Merger & Acquisition and Communication activities.
From October 2005 he has been Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnimont and from 2010 Chairman of KT- Kinetics Technology. In November 2011 he was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stamicarbon B.V.. In April 2013, he undertook the role of Chairman for Tecnimont Civil Construction S.p.A., the Group civil infrastructures company, and of Met Newen S.p.A., the renewable energy company. Last April the two companies merged under the name of Neosia S.p.A.. In 2012, Mr. Bardazzi was appointed Russia and Caspian Region Vice President and also Chairman of Tecnimont Russia OOO.

Since May 2016 he has undertaken the post of Group Special Initiatives and Regions Coordination Senior Vice President.
